Initial spiky kyanite gemstone ring with metal soldering
Intended for myself as an original
I approached this ring with a clear vision for a bold, spiky form, letting the design unfold naturally as I built it. Even though soldering was a new technique for me, I treated the process as a way to bring about the attitude and energy I wanted the piece to carry.
I’m usually a meticulous planner, so allowing this ring to develop more freely felt like an exciting extension of my creative voice. Designing it strengthened my sense of what I want my jewelry to look and feel like, and it expanded the range of pieces I see myself creating moving forward.

This ring marks the beginning of a direction in metalwork that I’m excited to keep exploring, refining, and shaping into pieces that carry my vision forward.
